Watched the first 4 episodes of Wentworth.

 

Female prison mini series. Very similar to OITNB including the plot. Takes place in Australia. I have to use the subtitles because it's very hard to understand what they are saying with the accents.

 

Started out quite slow and kind of dumb, but got better as it went along. 22 episodes for 2 seasons on Netflix and supposedly there is a 3rd season that could come later.

This movie was something. So weird and crazy but it worked. Jake G is quickly climbing up the top of my actors list. What a great job on this movie. Makes me want to go check out Southpaw now.

the green mile - B+

intriguing story. the evil guard and the nasty prisoner got what they deserved. would have liked some more explanation about the powers the inmate had.

 

AntMan - B+

saw it with my wife. had heard surprisingly good things about it, and it was really the only movie that fit the time frame we had today. we really enjoyed it. paul rudd is terrific, and michael douglass his usual solid self. really enjoyed the interplay between them. laughed out loud a few times, too. will see the sequel when it comes out.

I love this film. Captivating performances over the 90+ minutes. I love a classic black and white.

Just saw this for the first time, finally. I find it incredible how it is still a relevant film in 2015. 

 

Following -- 4/5

Christopher Nolan's first full length film. I enjoyed it a lot. I think it ranks 7th or 8th out of his films for me but by no means is that a slight to him.

 

Casablanca -- 5/5

The Other One- the Long Strange Trip of Bob Weir

 

It's a Netflix documentary. Even if you're not a fan of the Dead (I am) it's worth a watch. The dude's had a pretty incredible life and there's a lot of great music.
