And iglesias bed shit aside (freaking @AngelsLakersFan), theyve also had blowout wins, and come from behind wins.

Literally doing everything. Holy shit.

And rendon went yard left handed.

And ward is trout lite.

And suzuki isnt playing.

The hell is going on here?

And our defense has been great.

It's true.

It is.  Our rotation doesn't comprise a ton of flame throwers who are dependent on Ks, but rather, a lot of guys who are keeping the ball in the park and pitching to contact.  Our K/9 is 23rd in baseball, which suggests we are heavily reliant on our defense.

WHIP is tied for 2nd in MLB. Keeping walks low helps a ton. Dead ball and good defense up the middle and on the left side probably factors in on giving up less hits, also.

With Adell off the club, I think we are above average to great at every position in terms of defense.  Defensive positioning has played a good role in that, too.

Angels have the 2nd lowest ERA in MLB for the month of May so far at 2.54.

Astros have the lowest at 1.89. If you take out that game Saturday when they gave up 13 earned runs, the Astros have a team ERA of 1.01 in the other 13 games they've played in May. That's why they're 12-2 this month.

The Astros are damn good. It will be hard for the Angels (or any team for that matter) to keep pace.

Everything has been clicking right for halos early on. Starters depth was a concern to start season. Angels have found depth which nobody saw to start season. It's a long season but a very good start. Astros a very good team but for now I like Angels chances. Could be a lot of fun in coming months.

Seeing a guy drafted in the 11th round of last years draft come in and pitch goose eggs is such a Perry flex.

Yes, I know it's Oakland, but given how we always find way to lose against them makes it more special.

If Silseth becomes a hidden gem who knows what else Perry has up his sleeve with these others pitchers.
