Gameday Thread: Nationals @ Angels (5/7/22): Lorenzen on the mound

In the case of Mr Fletcher, his inability to swing level and at pitches in the zone has made him a liability. The coaching staff is to blame for not finding a way to change his swing habits and letting it get this far out of reason. If he has any options then he needs to be sent to Salt Lake with a very focused objective to make the changes necessary to be on the MLB roster.

And Rendon, I mean it’s not like he’s smoking the ball.  He just doesn’t look that good.  Maybe the hip is still on its way back.  I hope so.   But his light hitting in the middle of the line up is worse than fletcher at the bottom.   Obviously not saying he’s like Fletcher.  But they aren’t getting what they need from his bat.  Or close to what they need from it.  Anyway, hopefully he comes around.  Still early enough but it’s starting to not be that early.

I just think think the back to back weekend losses to bad teams thing is very funny.  Lmao what ?

It would be back-to-back HOME weekend series losses to bad teams  with a loss today.

This team may be better than the past six, and baseball may be hard, but this team has got some Sybil in it.   Up and down, just like the recent stock market.   The down being how they have played against poor teams at home so far.

Fortunately, they have played well enough against decent to solid teams.

Bro they could win the series today.  They aren’t going to sweep most series.
