GameDay Thread: Angels @ Red Sox (5/5/22 10:30am): Ohtani on the mound, no Trout

This pitching today and last night is what we didn't have in years past. I'm thinking where if we get good starting pitching we're going to win a lot of games like this. Tough offensive starts maybe but biding our time until the right pitcher comes in or they simply wear the other team out. I love this team so far this year though! I hope this is a fun summer of Angels baseball playing like this.

Agreed, offense is down around the majors too. We still need to find a solution at 2B unless Fletchers turns it around soon. I'm fine with Velazquez at short given how dominant he is defensively but we can't afford to have two sub .200 hitters with no power in the lineup daily.
