Going through a slump is one thing but the way he is striking out almost every at bat is very concerning.

 

Young players tend to go through periods of struggle.  He still brings a lot of value defensively and will likely find his way offensively.

They seem more able to win close games and get better production out of key spots.

Some are still struggling more than we'd want/expect (Rendon, Ohtani, Walsh, etc), but other guys are stepping up and helping pick them up.

This kind of road trip (@CHI, @BOS) would seem like a road trip we would historically struggle mightily through, but they've at least held serve on this current one.

I feel like this goes back for the vast majority of Angels history. Good teams win these kind of games. It’s refreshing to see them do it.

Anyone else getting the same vibe from when they beat the Yankees with that Walsh grand slam last year?  Man it's great to beat both the Yankees and Red Sox late- especially in their own ballparks in front of their own fans haha. This Angels team  is better than last year but the same satisfying feeling when they came back to beat the Yankees last year for me.
