Which position player goes when we cut to 26?

I see your point.  I forgot about Wade's OF experience.  

In that sense, it would seem that Adell being sent down could be a bit more possible, if you assume Wade serves as the 4th OF.  He doesn't have a ton of reps out there, but enough to be a bandaid if someone has a minor injury or needs a day off.

It would seem that Wade and Duffy would platoon at 2B, with Fletcher at SS, and then late in games, Velazquez would sub in to play SS and Fletcher shifted to 2B.  Duffy will also somewhat platoon at 1B I guess, with Walsh sitting against LHP.

I love his defense but it will be Velazquez. I put Wade at SS and Fletcher at 2B. Duffy is backup and sub for Walsh against some lefties. Adell stays will rotate with Marsh.

bWAR: 0.7 WAR

Bref values his defense significantly higher. According to Baseball-reference, Velazquez has been the 4th most valuable position player so far after Trout, Ward, and Marsh. FG has him at the bottom. 

What the Angels do with him on Monday will tell us a lot about how much the front office values his defensive impact.

That makes no sense.  If today is rained out we throw out Suarez who is starting today.

Agree we shouldn't give him away, but use him or lose him.

Maddon loves Velazquez and he is our best defensive SS.

Duffy is out of options like Barria.   But they have used Duffey.  Wade has a lot of value and have used him.

Adell is needed because they need 4 outfuelders.
