If that’s how they are going to play after a day off, thank goodness for 20 games in 20 days.   At least no DHs are scheduled during that stretch.

That 2 turkeys already after an off day.

Bright side: Detmers 5 innings, Ortega continuing to pitch well, and Rendon finally hitting one out

But Velazquez, about that “defense” in the 3 run inning? Didn’t do Bradley any favors with those two bobbles.

To be fair, one bobble had no effect. The other bobble was directly related to the umpire standing directly between him and the base when he needed to make the flip.

Fair enough 

If Fletcher and Velazquez get the majority of 2B and SS starts, the other seven position players better tar and feather the opposing pitchers.

I still don't understand why the umpire felt he had to shift his position. If anything he was moving out of line of sight for the play.
