Not swept, so it seems like the team wasn't ok with it. 

So, the problem you have is that they won by not using your lineup.

The original point of this thread is keeping Ohtani an Angel for life.  I want that.  Let's be clear on this.  Putting out that lineup while losing the first two games of a three game series is not consistent with a team trying to win a game while being 11 or whatever games out of first place.  With an off day the following day. So, yeah, I have a problem with that lineup... ef the free shirt.

Arte has to increase the payroll.  Not 5 or 6 or 10 million, he needs to aggressively increase payroll.  That’s it.  If he’s not willing to keep Ohtani around then he might as well get rid of Trout as well.  Ohtani wont sign if he doesn’t believe that Moreno will spend what he has to to make the team a winner.  And he made the same “winning” commitment to Trout so who knows what happens there.  The farm isn’t coming to the rescue.  Arte has to figure it out soon.

I just can’t believe Ohtani will stay on this team. He wants to win and realizes the Angels are not a winning organization. I see him in a Yankees or Dodgers uniform as soon as his contract is up.
