Adell's numbers are starting to approach respectability: .231/.250/.462. But man, 1 walk and 19 Ks (thus the .250 OBP). But he's going in the right direction.

He was a 3rd round draft pick, skipped AA from A+ in 2019 to AAA in 2021. Crushed in the minors.

A nice start to his major league career. It would be nice to have 3rd rounders like him.

I loved that 2 seamer against leftys. They'd jump back and it would just creep back into the zone. It was art.

If he becomes a bonafide middle of the order guy thats huge for us.

Yeah, no kidding.

But Syndegaard looks like hes back. Ohtani if we arent cursed is Ohtani. If Sandoval can be a bonafide 3 behind those two, with the improved pen, things could get real interesting.

Hopefully Sandoval will learn how to get a few quicker outs throughout the game so he can ease off the pitch count
