For the 2022 year model of Ohtani-san's bat, the core part is slightly widened to the grip. For ease of swinging, the tip is deeply hollowed out. It weighs around 1.995 lbs, is 33.5 inches long, and the material birch has not changed.

Depending on his condition, there is still the possibility of continuing to use the 2021 season bat.

Fletcher being elite at making contact loses its luster when 99% of the time it's weak contact on pitches out of the zone for easy outs when he should be trying to work counts/take more walks
