Well, he has an OPS+ of 92 so far this year, so there goes "getting his numbers."

Money isn't enough. It depends upon how you use it - and that includes scouting and development.

The Dodgers make a lot of big trades and sign big free agents, but they're as good as they are more for who they draft and develop. They also seem to have a knack for acquiring guys with untapped potential, like Max Muncy, Chris Taylor and Justin Taylor.
