All the Angels pitchers suffered due to horrible defense the last couple years.

I agree, not saying you're wrong by any means but is the Pirates defense this year really much better than last year's Angels team?  Also found it pretty surprising he didn't pan out though Cobb did.  Just a really weird season for him last year

The Angels defense was monumentally bad, so much so even a bad to mediocre defense would have made a massive positive impact. 

The real kicker was it wasn't so much that they were poor defenders (some were), but the positioning was just amazingly bad.  Remember all the talk about bit just being bad luck?  Thats not to say he bore no blame.  Quintana's command issues only made it worse, that's likely why he stood out as being particularly bad.

I've never been more annoyed with an Angels team than I was last year, in large part because so much of what happened was self induced.
