Opening Day Coverage to Feature 1-Hour “Angels Live” Pre-Game Show

LOS ANGELES – Bally Sports West, the home of Los Angeles Angels baseball, today announced its 2022 Angels regular season schedule with approximately 157 games. All games not airing exclusively on a national platform, will air on Bally Sports West and stream live on BallySports.com and the Bally Sports app starting with Opening Day coverage, April 7 at 6:30PM vs. the Houston Astros.

Calling the action, Matt Vasgersian returns for his second season and will rotate with Patrick O’Neal who earlier this year was named as the newest Angels play-by-play announcer. Analyst, Mark Gubicza returns for his 16th season with Angels Baseball on Bally Sports West. Also new to Angels telecasts this season, Erica Weston joins the network as an in-game reporter. Most recently, Weston contributed to Cardinals telecasts on Bally Sports Midwest.

The network will continue to deliver “Angels Live” pregame and postgame coverage, providing fans with unmatched access to the team with interviews, extended analysis, exclusive features and more. Led by* Kent French* and Weston rotating as the host position throughout the season, Gubicza along with Bobby Valentine, Denny Hocking, Tim Salmon, Mark Langston and *Garret Anderson *will each make regular appearances on the live show throughout the season to offer unique insights and analysis. Specific to Opening Day on April 7, “Angels Live” will supply fans with a special one-hour pregame show ahead of first pitch.
