That would be a bad move, and I don't think the Angels were considering it a week ago since they were reportedly pursuing Anderson at that point.

Doubt the Angels are even a mystery team for Story. When they sign someone, there doesn’t tend to be any of this “deciding soon” stuff in hours before.
