Meh, hopefully its not bad but knowing his history I sort of expected it.  He's got plenty of time to get healthy and be a productive player.

Think they need to move Pina up to AA and give him a few starts to see how he does. If the improved command appears in AA than keep him a starter,if not move him to BP and see if he can dominate.

Sam Bachman was likely an "over-clever" draft pick. Super high upside, but huge injury risk, and it might have been wiser to go for someone a bit less risky.

For now, that whole Sam Bachman versus Chris Rodriguez poll I put out earlier this year seems pretty pointless.

I've been fighting the urge to pull that back up and agree with all the people unaware of Bachman's history of not being Lou Gehrig.

I wonder what the odds are that any pitcher drafted is going to miss at least one year due to injury at some in their 5-6 years of minor league control.  Or at least within a 5-7 year period overall.

No. But I can't imagine whatever it is won't come with an IL stint. Unless it was a cramp. If he got a cramp and walked off the mound like that, I'm not sure he'd hear the end of it. 

I missed a series in high school football because of a cramp and I still get shit about it today. It's been almost 20 years.
