I didn’t say don’t draft pitchers, as they are always needed, just don’t draft only pitchers anymore.

Some revised prospect rankings are starting to trickle out.   There seems to be more buzz about Werner Blakely and Edgar Quero.  I would also include guys like Guzman and Placencia but both were highly rated international signees if I am not mistaken.  But Blakely and Quero are really putting together nice seasons.  I wouldn't at all be surprised if one or both of them start next year as a top 5 or 10 prospect in the organization.

Draft the best arms available until a bat is obviously better than the arm you could draft.

Jo Adell kind of sucks. I'm starting to get Brandon Wood vibes. He just struck out three times tonight and is now hitting .192.

Some good news: Jeremiah Jackson hit two more bombs. Hitting .286/.345/.662 in 21 games.

15 XBHs in 21 games for Jackson, the power is certainly there.   Continuing to work on cutting down the Ks is the main thing now.

Yeah, but Jackson's power is legit. The question is whether he can develop better plate discipline, and if he has a defensive position he can handle. He could be Adell 2.0, the Infielder Edition.
