I don't think that Simien would have signed with Texas without some type of guarantee that he would be their SS, since that was one of his goals entering free agency.  

If the Rangers are in on Story, then, they would have to sell him on a move to either 2B or 3B, which I don't think would appeal to him too much.  We will see which way the baseball rolls.
