That's true, but that's because he got off to a very slow start, and then fixed everything. 

He had an ERA of 7.61 on May 24 after 10 starts. He'd allowed 40 ER in those ten starts in 47.1 IP.

He allowed 43 ER in the remaining  140.1 IP for a 2.76 ERA.

I really doubt we end up with Stroman. We have an owner unwilling to pay for pitching and just struck out on their first two choices. Why would he then green light a multi year deal to what would be at best their 3rd option
