Is it French! He wanted to include a lot of French on the cover.

He was really good for a few years with the Expos before being beaned. Raines, Dawson, Cromartie, Valentine, Carter, Parrish, Wallach, Al Oliver,  Speier, Scott were the heart of late seventies, early eighties batting lineup. Fond memories.
