Remember him? One of the players that should have been an Angel in the nixed Pederson/Stripling deal? 

Dude has a plus-plus arm and just mashed his 30th homer in the minors. He's only 20.

Pederson would have been a free agent heading into 2021 anyways.... 

Considering that the Angels haven't made the playoffs and were offering Ward and Rengifo.... I would have taken that deal any day.

I believe there was a 3rd prospect the Angels had involved that hasn't been identified either.

The only info I ever saw were Rengifo and Ward. Possible another prospect outside our top 10.

Good point, but given the initial names on our side and the help it could have given us for that season plus the way Pages looks makes it tough to let go. 

Having another solid outfielder developing would make me feel better about trading away Adell or Marsh.

They're exactly the kind of guys the Angels shouldn't trade.

I don't think it's fair to assume that Pages' development is the same if he's in the Angels organization instead of the Dodgers organization. The Dodgers are a player dev. beast and actually treat their players well. They have a private chef at their affiliates for minor leaguers, meanwhile Angels minor leaguers' situations are so dire that they're calling out Arte Moreno publicly.

Also, the Angels may still have something in Ward and Rengifo (who would be with the Dodgers had that deal gone through)
