Barria should be in the rotation. The rotation should be:

Ohtani, Sandoval, Suarez, Detmers, Rodriguez, Cobb (when he returns), Barria-until Cobb comes back. 
 

It is unfortunate that there are no relievers to call up to replace Quintana and Bundy, Mayers and the rest of the Fire Squad. 
 

The team obviously isn’t going to win too many games the rest of the season so play the youngsters to get a feel for what to expect for ‘22. 
 

The rotation should be:

Ohtani

Sandoval

Barria, 

Suarez

Rodriguez 

Detmers

Keep Quintana and Bundy around to take a beating and to give the kids a rest. It is a shame that there aren’t and young pen arms to bring up. 

I think Barria is in the rotation.  I think Bundy is only in the rotation because we are playing 32 games in 32 days, we have a double header on a day and we are playing a full season after only playing 60 games this year.  Also our rotation is filled with guys that aren’t and have never been stretched out.  So there is no reason in a season like this to risk injury to Sandoval, Suarez, Ohtani, Detmers, or CRod.  Barria is the most stretched out of the “young” guys.  Having Bundy start is basically a governor for the young guys.  He isn’t going to take anyone’s place, he’s just being added.

Jaime really had to go pee, there was a bowl of Cheerios sitting there on the counter. One thing led to another, Arte walked in to find his bowl of cereal was drenched in "lemonade."

And it was on that day, Arte declared a jihad on Jaime. He demanded his dog Aybar bite Barria, only to find that Aybar had passed a year and a half ago. The Moreno family suspects Jaime had something to do with it.

Also, everyone has the wrong idea about the whole minor league living situation and the number of scouts on staff. 

You see, Arte doesn't care about the money, he's only making the conditions unlivable to torture Barria. Everyone else is collateral damage. And it was working until Jaime got his hands on incriminating photos of Minasian. He threatened to go public with them, just like he did with Callaway (another story for another time). The next thing we know, Jaime had been promoted and Heaney has been traded. 

And the reason we can't afford more scouts is because we've employed a full time scout to tail Barria at all times. Arte doesn't trust him and with good reason. Reports suggest Jaime was at the lab that leaked COVID and he hacked the Dominion voting machines to change the outcome of the election. 

This concerns us all.

We aren't going to the playoffs so I don't really care how often Bundy will pitch.

As others have said, don't risk the health of young guys who haven't played much at all in over a year. Take your time stretching these kids out. 

Next year should be a completely different story if management pulls the right levers. A lot of the dead weight will hopefully be gone.
