I wonder where all of those that jumped on the Bryce Harper bandwagon the first 4 weeks of the season have gone? Granted, I think Harper is going to be a great player for many years, and he was probably playing hurt in May, but lets see him put up a full season even close to Trout's 2012 before comparing the two.

I blame Scioscia for Truot not having more stolen bases. Scioscia has been play calling like a pussy.. Trout should be leading the league in stolen bases with his speed and his batting average.

Trout's awesome. So is Harper. No need to denigrate Harper in order to pump up Trout.

 

I'm hoping that we keep on getting to compare the two because it would mean that they were both amazing. I think the primary concern for Harper right now is that he's already having bursitis at age 20...that's a bit worrisome.

 

In the larger scheme of things its nice to see a new generation of stars emerge: Trout, Harper, Machado, Segura, maybe Puig, etc.
