AW SHUCKS.......another base running blunder --- 10 to 5 game and our guy gets tossed out at second for the final out of the 8th inning.......

 

classic Halos baseball this season.

 

OK. Kings are eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs (played a great game and lost to the class of the league this season, all season, Chicago Blackhawks), Halos chances of making the playoffs are slim to none.........don't really care much about the NBA stuff -- so the sports season here has pretty much come to a screeching halt.

 

Going to make it to ONE Angels game this year -- July 4th -- Best team in baseball (St. Louis Cardinals) vs. Halos........may wind up rooting for Yadier Molina and just enjoy the weather and being at the ballpark.

 

We need some pitching for 2014...........how's Madsen's stats as our pen/ closer guy -- told ya so -- he was damaged goods when we signed him and hadn't really been in the closer role much in his career......in his prime, pre-injury, he was a very good set up guy and pre-set up guy -- that's his role when not injured.........

 

Hamilton, Madsen.........great additions for 2013.........and we all said so at the time -- what the heck???  Oh well. It's only a game.

That pitch to Ortiz was just dumb.  In his first ab, they had him 1-2 and tried to sneak a fastball by him.  sharply hit single

 

Next ab, 1-1 count and they try to sneak a fastball by him.  3run jack.  How about we stop throwing him fastballs. 

 

Hanson made him look bad with nothing but slow offspeed stuff.  I wonder if there is anyone on this board that would like to weigh in on scouting.
