The deal also included Willits and Mathis.  It also wasnt the Angel's fault it fell through.   Marlins pulled the plug.  Marlins was the one that blew the trade.  There were three players that had good careers and the 4th may actually not have been killed in a traffic accident if the trade was made.

There was a poll. A good amount of users stated they would be fine with the Angels not winning a world series if it means Trout staying with them his whole career rather than trading Trout and winning a World Series.

Will be interesting to see how our prospects look with some re-imagined swings.  I imagine Minasian and the FO, in tandem with the coaching staff, probably want to tinker with the approaches and swings these guys have.  It does seem that a number of them have a different approach in just this game alone.  Will be curious to see how it plays out.
