sometimes people need to remember that there is prospect gray.  Not every guy is either gonna be a 23yo mlb starter or some 29yo AAAA guy.  Sometimes guys end up being just ok from age 27 to 30 and then fading out as they get tossed through waivers.

I want Marsh to make the team and I think he is ready. (Adell is not even close) But the Fowler signing killed his hopes.  I think Ward gets the call because of his ability to play multiple positions. Similar to the way Fletcher made the team. I hope he surprises and breaks out as well as Fletcher did.

If Marsh stands out so much in ST that he deserves to make the roster, I don't think anyone is going to stand in his way. Fowler could just move to the 4th OF role he may move into later in the season anyway.

  No, you're right. I was thinking he was costing us 8 or 9 million. Paying him less than 2 million is good news for Marsh. I believe that Marsh is the real deal. He has the potential to be the Angels everyday RF of the future. OK, maybe not HoF but I could see him make an all star team.
