But I have seen it snow in Vegas.

We do get snow, just usually not a lot of it. The mountains around the city get a bunch of it.

 

 

When I lived just outside Oklahoma City, one winter we had 12 inches of snow, and then about four days later we got another ten. It didn't get warm enough to melt it in between. I was standing at my back patio door when my patio roof collapsed. Had I been standing outside it would probably have killed me.
