I have never had a high opinion of garbage, but apparently the Chinese genuinely hate it.

VHF, One thing that seems to be consistent is the translation of the telephone pole symbol into the F-bomb. Curious to know what it really means.

I read that somewhere. It is supposed to mean "dry", but it is also slang for sexual intercourse. The sign that says F*ck Vegetables, if properly translated would have said dried vegetables.

 

“干菜” means dried vegetables and “类” means type. So as a whole, it should be the dried vegetables section. The translator was way too concerned about the Chinese character “干” which is also a slang for f***.”

 

This is crazy. I'm learning Chinese from reading bad translations.
