The Rangers are finally at the Ford dealerships after being delayed a few times. I doubt they are going to start a restyle after one year of production. 

Currently they have only one engine available, a turbo 4 cylinder. I think any changes will be in power plant options for the first five years. 

I've been considering buying one. They are a good compromise from the F150 in size and get a hell of a lot better gas mileage. The Crew Cab is only 1 foot longer than the Club Cab internally, the overall length is the same. The rear seating does not have much legroom so it's not like you'll be driving any distances comfortably with four people. At this point it would be just my wife and I and the two dogs. 

I've also noticed the 4 wheel drive is no taller than the 2 wheel version. My wife would require a step rail for either version. It would be a hell of a change from driving a two seat roadster that can't see over any of the tailgates on the freeway.
