Those were awesome back in the day.  Like when i was in Japan 25 years ago.  

 

Odd thing back then about those vending machines.  They were the same price as if you went to a store, since the price on beer was regulated.  

 

Oh and one other thing that I have never seen here, but was very common in Japan.  In the winter time, vending machines would heat the canned drinks.  So you could get a warm canned coffee or tea.

I don't know about a basketball but I once threw a water bottle cap over the side of Hoover Dam and it went about 20 feet down before the wind caught it and blew it straight back over my head and off the other side.

the cupcake atm is for sprinkles. we have one at the americana outdoor mall but i haven't used it yet. it might be easier than using the walkup window, which some genius decided should be right at belly button level so you have to bend way over to use it. idiots.
