Praying mantis are starting to come out up here in the Sierra. We get a lot of them in mid to late summer. I've kept and fed them in the kitchen and workshop in years past. Crickets seem to be one of their favorite foods....but they have been known to eat things much bigger than them. The moral here is don't mess with a praying mantis.

I've caught mantis shrimp. You don't want to get your hands anywhere near them..they are the baddest ass of the ocean bad asses.

Yes, it is at the top of the gondola. There are zip lines, rock walls, summer tubing, ropes courses, etc.... All kinds of cool stuff up there.

Most of it operates year round!
