I do wonder what it would be like to throw out the first pitch at a game. I know LTH did it, and I think he did it well if I can remember. I have thrown a baseball from a pitchers mound to home literally 1000's of times in my life, but something tells me I would throw it about 55 feet. What I do know, is if I ever have the chance to do it, I will not lollygag it up there, in other words I won't play it safe. I don't throw hard, but I would at least try to throw a "fastball". The other thing I worry about is having played softball for the last 25 years and seldom actually throwing a baseball, I could easily see myself butchering it, not like those two, but certainly not a good effort either.

I got picked to shoot the puck from center ice at a NY Rangers game at MSG. It was between the first and second period, and the ice was a disaster. Felt like I was on the sand at a beach. Missed the goal by two feet, and was booed by 18,000 people.
