Guess that I have been retired from government service too long to notice that. That must be the contract price, which a government entity is obligated to pay. Many times I saw prices that I could have beaten just by walking into Wal Mart or Target and buying the same item off the shelf.

The sticker shock really comes when after 10 prints, you are out of ink and they force you to buy their own printer cartridge.

There is a reason that printers are cheap. They more than make it back in cartridge sales.
