At this point, I fail to see mere words as the answer. I realize that they have to at least give the appearance of trying to fix this mess, but this is just a mismatched, underachieving, dysfunctional collection of ballplayers led by a sleepwalking staff who seem resigned to our fate. I really didn't figure on this team playing out the string before the end of May, but that is apparently where we are.
