Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is calling out a group supporting Vice President Harris for use of the former United Nations ambassador’s name.

“Haley Voters for Harris,” a project paid for by the pro-Harris PivotPAC, purports to encourage “voters across the political spectrum, and Haley voters in particular, to vote for Kamala Harris in November,” according to the project’s site. It was previously known as “Haley Voters for Biden” but switched after President Biden announced he was stepping back from his reelection bid.  

Haley, who has encouraged the delegates she won during the GOP primary to side with former President Trump, pushed back against the group in a statement.

“Kamala Harris and I are total opposites on every issue. Any attempt to use my name to support her or her agenda is deceptive and wrong,” Haley said. “I support Donald Trump because he understands we need to make America strong, safe, and prosperous.”

The Haley Voters for Harris PAC has issued a public response to a cease and desist letter reportedly sent by a law firm representing Ambassador Nikki Haley. The letter demands that the group stop using Haley's name, image, or likeness, asserting that such use implies her support for Vice President Kamala Harris, which Haley has explicitly denied.

In a press statement, the PAC acknowledged the press reports about the legal threat and promised to review the letter with their legal counsel upon receipt. They emphasized their mission to rally former Haley supporters around Harris, highlighting their independence from Haley’s official campaign. "Our rights to engage with voters and encourage them to vote for Vice President Harris – who in our view is the clear better choice for the country – will not be suppressed," the statement declared.

 

So basically, they are going to do whatever they want and lie about Haley supporting Harris to lure those voters to vote for Harris.
