You gotta wonder if this caravan is the work of Trump so that he could make a big show of a hot button issue to help drive people to the polls.

Trump backed himself into a corner by stating the caravan will not be coming into America. 

He supposedly will make a "major speech" tomorrow about immigration, and deploying 5,000 troops to the border seems to imply he means business. If this turns out to be just for show he'll have major egg on his face.

Fox News reports that the 5,000 troops are not combat troops, but support personnel, medical, engineers, etc.

Sounds more like a welcoming committee.

I've limited my news feeds to sites like Reuters, AP.  Things the site allsides.com rates as not liberal or conservative and pure center.  News has become very boring, and much more informative.
