I think he wasn't referring to unemployment.  I think the term "job numbers" can be translated differently or mean something different to one person than another.

It was pretty clear he was talking about job growth. To think otherwise, you'd just have to be in a mood to dosagree with what he was saying.

Also, did you feel what I said was false? You weren't very clear about it.

The presidency is turning into the hockey playoffs where the season lasts half as long but still has almost all the same teams involved. Trump hasn't posted two years in the chair and we are already in an election cycle.

Fuck and this.

F'ing Obama for forcing Trump to hold political rallies months after being sworn in.

I'll give Obama some credit, in a way, as the stock market started to recover in March, 2009 and continued to rise through his second term.

But how much of that was him, and how much was due to the fact that it had plunged 50% in the year-and-a half before that?

Dow went from 14,000 to 6,600. At some point the buyers flood back in, especially when the 'crisis' was not the forerunner of a new Great Depression like the early 1930's. The markets were oversold and reforms in the lending process were underway, the process that caused much of the trouble in the first place.

It had a ton to do with keeping the federal funds rate at near zero for his entire presidency.

So while the population grew by 223,000 in August, the labor force lost 469,000 people.

This would be the Baby  Boom generation retiring from the workforce which is going to create more job openings without needing an increase in job creation. There may be a workforce shortage in the next 5-10 years as the last of that generation hits 65.

Thanks, Trump!

Trump may want to have white house staff take lie detector test, in order to find the Op-Ed author. Giving Lie detectors to white house staff should go over well, especially with Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Kellyanne Conway...

A lie detector test for people who lie for a living. What a concept. If they ever told the truth, the machine would probably catch fire.
