Elizabeth Warren is a definite candidate for the Dems in 2020. She is suggesting the 25th Amendment be invoked to get rid of Trump. Maybe she thinks she'll do better against Pence?

"If senior administration officials think the president of the United States is not able to do his job, then they should invoke the 25th Amendment," Warren told CNN. "The Constitution provides for a procedure whenever the vice president and senior officials think the president can't do his job. It does not provide that senior officials go around the president — take documents off his desk, write anonymous op-eds. ... Every one of these officials have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States. It's time for them to do their job,” she added.

translation: we don't like him so we're going to get rid of him any way we can.

Obama said this morning in a speech that the job numbers were the same in 2015 and 2016 under him as they are now.

What?!

Unemployment is 3.9% currently. It ranged from 5 to 5.7% in 2015 and was in the high-4's in 2016.

Numbers can be manipulated.

I'll give Obama some credit, in a way, as the stock market started to recover in March, 2009 and continued to rise through his second term.

But how much of that was him, and how much was due to the fact that it had plunged 50% in the year-and-a half before that?

Dow went from 14,000 to 6,600. At some point the buyers flood back in, especially when the 'crisis' was not the forerunner of a new Great Depression like the early 1930's. The markets were oversold and reforms in the lending process were underway, the process that caused much of the trouble in the first place.

I didn't really have too much of a complaint on his presidency when it comes to the economy.  I believe most of that is cyclical but can be screwed up by morons.

My beef with him was some socialistic policies, his clandestine presidency, his push to make the feds even more powerful and his penchant for blowing up brown people.

You guys, stop. FS79 is getting his news from who knows where and mt is getting his news from FS79 in what is clearly a pretty shitty game of "telephone." He never said anything about unemployment % being the same nor did he infer it.

False, I wasn't agreeing with him.  My statement that numbers can be manipulated is factually correct.  My point was that you can look at those kind of numbers many different ways and come up with many different conclusions.

So false.

Yes, but do you think that it's false?
