That’s absolutely your opinion and not empirically true. Look, a Democrat is not going to carry Oklahoma or Kansas anyway.  It doesn’t matter who the Democrats run in places like that.  A person with her political position could carry the working class vote in a swing state.  There’s a lot of polling that supports that idea.  Polls are imperfect, but they do offer insight.  And someone like her would absolutely fire up the left wing portion of the party.  Which didn’t happen for Hillary.  Anyway those swing states and their laborers are the places that democrats need to target.
