Sen Ryan said we should not be banning guns for law abiding persons. We should make people that should not have guns don't them.

Good idea but they are all law bidding until there not. As long as assault rifles are being sold they will be able to get them one way or another.

A need a learner permit to drive a car.  After 6 mo. you need to pass a driving test to get a license. After that you also need to get insurance in order to drive a car legally. Apparently any fool can walk in a buy an AR-15 with a bumpstock and a 100 round magazine. But yeah driving a car is the same thing.
