Some people totally astound me in their ability to repeatedly lie and say absurd things and still have followers. One is Donald Trump. Another is Jim Bakker. About Trump's alleged infidelity with a porn star right after his wife had given birth and his alleged payment of six-figure hush money, Bakker said this:

Trump is an evangelist who set out to save women in the sex trade from a life of sin just like Christ did. How noble of him.

These statements mean a lot more coming from a convicted felon who also famously cheated on his wife.
