This is the kind of scandal that Republicans are going to be up in arms about, they will certainly ask for an investigation and impeachment... right?

Shouldn't we be having an investigation about how Trump and Congress can't get their acts together to keep the government running?  Shouldn't we be investigating why Congress thinks that the 4th Amendment doesn't apply to its own citizens?

I don't get the feeling that Nate is saying that this is the most pressing issue in the world.

He's just inferring (and absolutely justly) that many elected Cons (and many of the people that voted for them) are going to act in a manner that is counter to values that they have clung to in the past.

I DO NOT care about him being relatively out of shape. People can be good, smart and effective when out of shape. It's possibly more of an issue the older you get, but whatever.

I DO care about him talking about countries in the way he did (because it sheds further light on how he sees the world and the people that are in it).

I DO care that he was allegedly screwing this chick when married and hush money was paid to her (via an LLC apparently created by his lawyer) before he was ELECTED PRESIDENT. It's just more to what we all already know: THIS GUY IS  A SCUMBAG CONMAN.

So, yeah, there are much bigger fish to fry. That doesn't mean that you look the other way on everything else. I'm pretty sure we can talk about multiple things.

Since it is how these people get elected (by trumpeting their values) it is just another way that they have completely defrauded the voters.

Haven't we pretty much established that none of them give half a crap about spying on citizens? Why is this your rebuttal, Blarg? It's not like there's a big gotcha there to be had on Nate for making the post.
