The bigger problem is not what he called the countries and whether it was accurate or not, it's the fact that he doesn't know why or think they should be coming here because they are from "shithole" countries.

Mexico is one of the most violent countries on earth, and allowing illegal immigrants to come in means violent criminals will come through who would otherwise not be allowed if he/she went through the legal channels. This is far from racist when you actually try to consider what he was trying to say.

Everyone knows there are obviously plenty of people from those countries who are great people who work hard, but on a larger scale there is an issue of culture and values when assimilating to the US. Minnesota has taken in Somalian refugees and they've seen spikes in crime and poverty because of it.

Are we supposed to take in the entire worlds poor and embattled people because it's the moral thing to do? Some people seem to think we should take in as many as we can, and that's a recipe for disaster because it's just going to destroy your culture and values from the inside out.

There are ways the US can help somehow outside of pouring immigrants into here, but right now we're on the verge of our own crises.
