Papadopoulos, who was named by Trump in March 2016 as a foreign policy adviser to the campaign, pleaded guilty to lying about his contacts with the Russians when he was interviewed in January by federal agents who were investigating Russian interference in the presidential campaign.

Papadopoulos told agents that he had been in contact with a Russian professor even prior to joining the campaign. In fact, prosecutors say he met the man in March 2016 and was told by the professor the next month that he had damaging information about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, including thousands of Clinton’s emails.

Papadopoulos also falsely told agents he believed the professor was a low-level person in Russia, but, in fact, he knew that the professor had ties to senior levels of the Russian government, according to court papers released Monday.....

....The charge indicates that Mueller, who is known to be probing alleged coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin, is deeply probing contacts with Trump campaign aides and Russian officials.

 

 

The article goes on to talk about how Papadopoulous not only repeatedly tried to setup meetings between Russian officials and the campaign, but would give other campaign officials updates

I'm not sure that's what the first charge is, this looks to be more financial

 

But absolutely, there are certainly questions that need to be answered like why did Manafort go to the campaign, especially with no salary, was it at someone else's behest, was it to get right with people he owed money, etc.

The same reason why Trump keeps tweeting about Clinton and they still chant lock her up at Trump rallies...because deep down in their core a subset of folks believe Hillary Clinton is a murderer and runs a massive criminal/pedophile enterprise. Behind every door and underneath every rock lies Clinton and co. Some of those people post in this forum.

Tony Podesta, Manafort, and Gates are connected. NBC is reporting that Podesta is a subject of Mueller's probe.

Clinton was SOS when the uranium deal was made. She approved it. Did the Clinton Foundation benefit? Bill benefited, 500 grand for a speech. Follow the money trail.
