I kind of agree but by who really?

The media.  But let’s not kid ourselves.  The conservative talking heads would be screaming bloody murder if there was a Democrat in the White House.  The whole conservative military love is utter bullshit and their silence is another example of that.

And there’s a pretty solid irony in Donald not showing up.  He’s the one saying that Obama and Bush didn’t call families.  Obama in particular apparently had contempt for the military the way Donald Trump says it

Theres nothing unfair about pointing this out.

Hey, quick quiz. Who put US troops in harm's way in Niger?

So now we’re opposed to the “global war on terror” ?

Before you try and pass it off on Obama and Hillary Clinton why don’t you point the finger squarely where it belongs at George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz.

I find all of them complicit.

You know, I remember when we had a Chief of the military, some called him the Commander In Chief, and he could order the military to do things.

Guess we don't have one now.

Plus your MAGA butt buddy can't stop talking about ISIS, you are a fool if you think Trump hasn't been sending more.

Right, you probably do.

im not passing the buck Blarg.  are you serious ? We have troops in Niger for the same reason that we have troops in the Phillipines.  This is policy birthed in the Bush years and frankly its probably one of the better ones that they came up with to combat terrorism.

We have had bases in the Philippines since 1900. That is nothing new and the current president of Philippines is hostile to the US because we are not supporting his anti drug genocide. We do not have troops deployed there only stationed.

John Kelly's kid died in Afghanistan while Obama was president.  He should be forcefully setting his moron boss straight.  The decent thing to do would be resignation.  He cant be silent on this.  His integrity is on the line here.

Except when the President welcomed him to the White House

Wait, I thought that Obama didn't call Kelly. At least that's what I've been seeing.

As Arch said, we haven't had military bases in the PI in over a,quarter century.

But anyway,  at what point does Trump assume full responsibility for military actions? Can you give us a timeline?

I think the timetable is the same for his supporters as it is for all supporters of a POTUS re military actions:

Those that are successful are his.

Those that aren't are owned by the previous POTUS, so long as that POTUS was not from the same party as the current one.
