I've seen the poll numbers.   It's like 80 percent range is it not.

they can believe what the want and be wrong. Trump has done objectively nothing for the economy.  He's created needless social rifts.  Needless diplomatic issues.  Ramped up military action etc.  He lies non stop and they don't care.  We're running out of exuses for these people.

That is Rush Limbaugh like right there.

I would add one thing, there is a decent percent of folks who will be voting for Trump because of who the dems put out there.  Do you really expect an economic conservative to vote for Bernie in any scenario?

oh brother now I'm like Rush Limbaugh.  Whatever man.

He's caused problems apparently with several of our allies.  Mexico,  he's about to start shit with Iran.

I'm not even remotely concerned with the Afghanistan stuff.  It's a disaster that pre dates him and as I told you the other day I don't blame him.  I think the new "plan" whatever it may specifically be seems destined fail.  Obama surged 100k troops and it didn't do shit.  If anything the country is in an even greater state of insurrection. So Trumps half measure I also expect to fail. It's a least concern issue to me right now because it is what it is.  There's seemingly no good solution.

And I expect that any person of good intent vote against a person so blatantly terrible for our country.  Regardless of their economic theory ideology.

You say you didn't vote for him.  I gather that you won't again.  Hopefully people decide to join you.

I said your statement was Limbaugh like and it was.

We have been going at it with Iran for decades and Mexico is not really an ally.

and it is easy to make the last statement when the shoe is on the other foot.

I've said this before, but so many conservatives voted for Trump because of the Supreme Court issue. I personally don't know anyone who voted for Trump and loves Trump—but they voted for him because they were worried Hillary would stack the Supreme Court with far-left judges. There are plenty of Trump-nutswingers out there, but I don't think it's a majority of conservatives or even a majority of people who voted for the guy.

(Not arguing with you, MT. Just adding this to the discussion because I think it's an important angle to consider.)

I agree.  My wife voted for him for that very reason.

The list is a bit longer though we don't often think of them as such. And they are getting pretty uniform on a free college education plan.

Wow!  That list seems WAY longer than just one item!

Unsure. Was going off Monday's Daily Show. Note the rather vocal minority of the left who has bought into this culture of advocating violence against these right-wing groups that preach hate, and post on social media over and over again, are really not helping these poll numbers. It legitimizes the "both sides" argument just enough to somehow make neo-Nazis sympathetic to some. That...isn't easy. You may want to dismiss this supporters of Trump but that would be a grave error. Clearly most have some serious cognitive dissonance that made pre-election Trump someone to vote for and continue to support. Someone on the left or perhaps the right has to step forward and lift this fog. HRC failed miserably at her chance. I have no fucking clue who we have on the political bench right now that could step in and do that.

The Iran business should be settled to large degree.  It won't be now when Trump doesn't certify in the next couple of weeks.  He's instructed his goons in the White House to find reasons to not certify and I expect they'll come up with some bullshit.  Despite the IAEA an agency far more capable of making any determination saying that they are compliant.  I fully anticipate dangerous saber rattling to ensue.  I call that a diplomatic problem.

Mexico may not be an ally but they are an critically important trade partner.  Antagonizing and threatening them is stupid.

And when the democrats have a gigantic asshole in the vein of Trump running feel free to challenge me.  I will not vote for that person.

The broadest definition is a publicly versus privately provided service.

We will see.  It isn't like we have had good relations with either one, especially Iran.

Hillary was a giant asshole

I think it could be argued that the point of that picture is that plenty "socialist" enterprises are actually good ways of doing things.

I think your post shows how effective the left has been at framing their own agenda as "socialist".

So much for Mexico paying for the wall, Trump threatening a shutdown now if the money to fund his wall isn't in the budget.

Republicans still feel good about their choice?  Fucking clown sides with Nazis and now wants to waste billions on a wall.

According to the polls? Yes. Since the base stuck with him after last week what exactly are your expectations on what it would take for even them to turn their back on him? Certainly not a much more pedestrian threat of shutdown to build their conservative orgasm inducing wall.
