House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes went to the White House on Wednesday afternoon to personally brief President Trump about intelligence he says he has seen regarding surveillance of foreign nationals during the presidential transition.

The surveillance could have inadvertently picked up the president or members of his transition team, the chairman said.

1) That's not what Trump said, not even close...not even remotely close...he accused the former President of illegally wiretapping him prior to the election

2) I'm not sure Trump being caught up in legal surveillance of foreign nationals communicating with his transition (meaning *edit - most likely* probable cause was found and a FISA warrant was issued) is a positive thing

3) What the hell is the head of a supposed independent investigatory committee doing running of to the white house to spill information found during the investigation prior to the investigation being completed?

I'm pretty sure Trump's "evidence" that Obama wiretapped him is right next to his proof that 3 million voted illegally...oh and the proof of that Obama wasn't born in the US...and a bunch of other crap he's stated that he's never bothered to back up with facts.  At least he's draining the swamp and getting Mexico to pay for a wall we so preciously need.

You're such a weasel sometimes, leaving out some important quotes. The information was reportedly gathered in November, December, and January. Possibly in an attempt to disrupt the inauguration IMO.

Well we know THAT isn't going to happen. And the vast majority of right wing radio listeners will go on believing that Pres. Obama tapped Trump for political motivations. Details are way too complicated. Trump continues to feed into the paranoia/confirmation bias of his political base. He's astoundingly effective at it. Between this and the attack in London today this is a positive day politically for him.
