In 2013 and that meeting had nothing to do with the Armed Services Committee.

The question remains if Sessions is meeting with the Russian ambassador as part of his duties of the Armed Services Committee, why the secrecy?  Why not bring one of the other committee members along for the meetings?  Did he at the very least brief the other members of the committee about what the meetings were about?

I think we do not know yet. I'm fine with them looking into it. It's politics and it's expected. IF he just answered about a question specifically about talking to the Russians in regards to the campaign, then it may not be a lie.
