1. If this were a permanent ban I would have a problem with it, but it's temporary (90 days).

2. The seven countries on the list (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen) were chosen by the Obama administration as posing enough of a threat so as to make travelers to those countries ineligible for the visa-waiver program who would otherwise be eligible.

3. There are at least 40 countries which are Muslim-majority that are not affected by the immigration ban.

The visa waiver program was for citizens of countries with whom we have close relations and can enter without a visa. Anyone who had visited these countries beforehand would have been ineligible to enter the US without a visa. It had nothing whatsoever to do with citizens of those countries.

Typical of everything else he does it makes no sense and doesn't serve any logical objective. If you think there are too many regulations just rescind the damn things without turning it into a sideshow

It won't be nonsense when regulations start going bye bye.

That's a super cute thing to say and it's neat and all, but sure it will. It's still nonsense. Something will be happening, but it's fucking nonsense. The reasoning is basically as follows: "becuz regulashunz!"

Does anybody else give a flying fuck that Bannon is now higher on our chain of command than the joint chiefs of staff?  Anybody?

This is exactly why I don't care about the "2-1" proposal.  It's just a distraction from the other shit Trump is doing.  As others have said, pure theater.

It's fucking insanity, but not shocking.

This country has been constricted with regulations. The more taken off the books, the better.

yes, because it's a stupid marketing gimmick and has nothing to do with actually resolving issues related to government regulation.

You want to rollback regulations...fine...go and do it, analyze regulations on their merit. Just like you any new regulations should be added based on their merit.

This is ludicrous.  Change needs to be done thoughtfully.  While I am in complete agreement that this country has probably 3 times too many regulations, they must be handled correctly.  Randomness is mostly a bad idea.

LOL about Trump talking about others warmongering and starting WWIII.  Projection at its projectionest.

The right has been war mongering for years. The left started a few years ago for reasons that are clearly beyond my ability to determine. Is there anyone left not warmongering? The choices seems to be either Russia or China. Neither of which is an appealing option.
