He's spoken about making a veteran's care a priority.  While I doubt he comes through I am going to give that one a little time.

There are a lot of things I am going to give time for. It seems that he is trying to carry out as many campaign promises as possible in the early days. The reality of governing hasn't set in yet. We'll see.

White House says draft interrogation order is not a White House document

"It is not a White House document," White House spokesman Sean Spicer told reporters. "I have no idea where it came from, but it is not a White House document."

The frantic pase in which Trump is working is actually pretty cool to see good or bad love or hate him. This is the first time in my young life that i've seen a president constantly working and grinding in his first week as president.

Lets boogie America!

Trump's influence on America's youth is already noticeable.

Seawater desalination is one of the most expensive, power hungry and environmentally harmful methods out there...and that doesn't include the fact that the Desalination Plant cost listed, I think around 350 million dollars...is off by about 700 million or so. Apt quote I read...desalination is the tar sands of water.

I would agree folks should look at desalination, but I also think some realistic comparisons should be done on the benefits of spending a billion or so dollars on a desalination plan (and the amount of water it would produce) as compared to reclamation and conservation projects.

For example, we just had huge rain storms...and a significant portion of that water washed out to the ocean. They've done some interesting things along the Santa Ana river, using pumps and pools to keep some of that water from flowing out to the sea and using it to replenish the groundwater tables.
