As much as I am pro-Israel I agree with some of this post.  I think symbolic acts like this are pointless and can truly hurt the way things go.

Obama chose a moderate - just the type of Justice you'd want to break a tie. Instead, the extreme polarization in the court will probably get worse.

Not a huge fan of the guy, but he was somewhat moderate.  It was a brilliant pick by Obama but the republicans gambled and won.

IMO they should have been impeached for not doing their jobs.
